    Afghan Women's Organisation Victoria

    We support newly arrived Afghan women and families to confidently settle into life in Australia. Our Settlement Services Program provides practical, culturally responsive support in English, Dari, and Pashto, helping women navigate systems, build independence, and feel connected to their community.

    Centre for Mulitcultural Youth (CMY)

    Settling Smarter, delivered by CMY, focuses on settlement information, advice, orientation and support to ensure social participation, economic well-being, independence, personal wellbeing and community connections.

    The goal of Settling Smarter is to help newly arrived young people, aged 15 to 24, learn more about life in Australia, understand systems, navigate and connect to local support services and build independence to achieve their own goals in relation to work, education, skills and community networks.

    Settlement and Access Support (SAS) program aims at assisting Chinese-speaking migrants and/or residents to settle down in Australia and better integrate into the mainstream society through the provision of culturally appropriate services. It also provides support for and empowers disadvantaged groups to gain access to the services they need.

    Drummond Street Services

    The SETs (Settlement Engagement and Transition Support Program) aims to build capacity and meet the settlement needs of eligible permanent migrants. It is a partnership between Many Coloured Sky and Drummond St Services, located at the Carlton office of Drummond St. The program is a dual community development and casework model, incorporating case management and a range of workshops and group activities.

    Intouch Multicultural Centre Against Family Violence

    inTouch works across the family violence continuum, providing culturally-informed case management, perpetrator programs, a fully accredited community legal centre and specialised migration assistance, crisis recovery, learning and development programs and enhanced capacity-building projects across the sector and community. We are proud to provide high-level leadership and guidance to all levels of government with our evidence-based, victim-survivor informed policy, advocacy and research work.

    MiCare understands how important having a job is for migrants and refugees who have moved to Australia in the past few years. We provide support for people from migrant and refugee communities to learn English, gain qualifications, and look for work. Our training courses and individual support programs assist people to build confidence, obtain local work experience, learn about different types of jobs, develop resumes and connect with employers.

    Empowering community members to find solutions that address their settlement needs.

    The aim of the SETS program is to improve social participation, economic wellbeing, independence, personal wellbeing and community connectedness. We work with individual clients in their first five years in Australia to guide them along their exciting, but sometimes challenging journey of building a life here.

    Southern Migrant and Refugee Centre (SMRC)

    SMRC’s Intake & Settlement Casework Program offers culturally appropriate, one-on-one support to help eligible individuals navigate social services and access essential resources.

    This service is designed to assist newly arrived families and individuals in successfully settling into their new communities. Our program specializes in working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. If our caseworkers do not speak your language, an interpreter will be provided.

    Wellsprings for Women

    Wellsprings for Women is proud to offer our new Settlement Services program. We are dedicated to providing services tailored to help humanitarian entrants and other vulnerable migrants meet their settlement needs. Our goal is to enhance their social and economic participation and strengthen their connection to the community. Our comprehensive program includes practical assistance, advocacy, service linkage, and training aimed at empowering and protecting the rights of those resettling in South East of Melbourne.
